“ An American, spending time in West Highlands and in Edi often- for context. The staff is always friendly, the food delicious and quick with a warm inviting atmosphere. We've eaten here 2x in 2 weeks and highly recommend! ”
“ The food is absolutely delicious, I love the mix of Thai and Indian food. Notably the Chicken Kurma, Garlic Nans and the Vegetable Thai Curries. The staff are also very pleasant and they ask regularly whether I'm enjoying my food or not. Amazing restaurant, recommend it to all ”
“ Incredible food, stunning ambiance, and top-notch service! The Indian and Thai dishes were fresh, flavourful, and generously portioned. Attentive staff, lovely complimentary extras, and great value. Takeaway is available, but with a setting this beautiful, we’ll be dining in again. Highly recommend! ”
“ We enjoyed our dinning experience here at Mintleaf last Friday. We went for Indian dishes. The best paratha I have ever had. The vegetable curry that comes with my chicken biryani was very good with lots of different vegetables. My husband also enjoyed the dish he had which I don't remember what's called. The side dish, Bhindi Bhajee (okra) was good too. Fresh and crispy poppadoms with nice dips. Friendly service and chilled atmosphere. Overall a restaurant I would recommend to friends and others. Worth a try whether you're a local or on holiday like us. ”
“ The owner was really friendly and gracious. The food was YUM. We loved the food there as well as the service. Gave us some complimentary food as well. 10/10 ”
“ We were recommended by a work colleague to come here if you like hot curries. We reserved a table for 6 at 430 on a Thursday evening for a work celebration night. The restaurant was empty when we arrived. The staff were very friendly and inviting. We got our drinks orders in then had a round of poppadoms and dips to start. The menu is a mixture of traditional Indian curry and Thai curries. Same for the starters. I had Thai fish cakes to start and then a mild Thai curry with nan bread. The food was delicious and a step above normal curry. We had complementary onion bajias and mint green tea from the staff. Total bill was 170 for food and 56 for the drinks. All round great value for Edinburgh and gorgeous food. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Mintleaf, you won’t regret it. ”
“ Warm welcome, attentive service, delicious freshly made Indian food, the Thai seabass was very much enjoyed by the table next to us, so seems to be a great mix of authentic dishes for a dinner when not everyone fancis a curry. We loved our vegetable pakoras and the Sag Gust (tender lamb with spinach). Recommended! ”
“ The food was delicious. The portions were ok. Their Chinese dishes were really nice especially the tom yam and tom kah soup. I would recommend taking the soups with prawn rather than chicken. It's halal restaurant and the owner is a very friendly and nice person. Overall if someone wants to try Bangladeshi style Chinese food I would definitely recommend it. ”
